HOT ~ HOT ~ HOT

What do these famous ladies have in common with me?

Plenty. You laugh? Please don’t!

Each one of these lovelies is over 50 and a Baby Boomer! That’s right!

Olivia Newton-John, b. September 26, 1948

Michelle Pfeiffer, b. April 29, 1958

Sharon Stone, b. March 10, 1958

and Oprah, too!

Even Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg was featured on the cover of AARP Magazine in November when she turned 50!

Word about town is that 50 is the new 40 now. Or even 30. So with that comforting thought, give me a Vote of Support for the Blogger’s Choice Award Hottest Mommy Blogger! And I don’t mean hot flashes, either.

One of my readers, Willow, commented that she considers me the “new millenium version of a Renaissance woman!” Now, I don’t know if my family would quite agree!

While I really don’t expect to win this coveted award, my point is that turning 50 does not automatically make one become invisible. It’s only if you allow yourself to become invisible, that you do.

I’d appreciate your vote anyway, ~ OLE ~ OLE !!

As a kid in the 80’s I used to love Olivia Newton-John. I was kind of a geek since everyone else was listening to A-ha and Wham and all those other lovely 80’s bands.

To this day I enjoy her music.

I wish she would have let nature take it’s course though…

I voted for ya, my friend!!!!!!!!!!!

And with 4 votes so far, I\’m only about 270 away from catching Dooce!

  4. 4 Linda Says:

I’ll be turning 50 myself this September but with back issues and assorted aches and pains, I’m afraid I feel nothing like I did when I was 30 or 40 however, mentally I think I’m still in my 20’s! Does that count?

I went over and cast a vote your way - good luck to you! And thank you for your recent visits to my blog, too!
