A “little” About Me, so you’ll know who I am….
Cindi Matthews is a Mid-Life Baby-Boomer wife of over 30 years; mom of 2 grown daughters; and has 2 young grandchildren. She’s a native of New England, lives in an historic small town in Connecticut. Her interests include Vintage Collectibles, shopping and of course, writing!
Proviso to lay it all on the table: Came of age in the late 1960s early 1970s – which makes her lean toward favoring Feminism; juggling it all as a young mom – the husband, kids, house, dog, full-time job and busting through the glass ceiling. Favors Folk; Celtic; New Age; Jazz; Country Music and pictures of her 1969 Volkswagen Bug. Hold on to your hat, you’re in for a ride.
Cindi started blogging as a second career in anticipation of retiring, offering to share her experiences as a WAHM, and has really grown to enjoy meeting new friends from all over the globe. Originally she had hoped to promote her eBiz through the blog, as well as to share information with friends.

Cindi is the sole author and owner of the multi-generational Moomette’s Magnificents blog which covers Work-At-Home subjects, Blogging Resource tips and techniques, Social Networking and Twitter tips, eBiz, eBay, Bonanzle, Parenting and Grandparenting tips. Here she shares kitchen tips on entertaining including new as well as old- fashioned New England and traditional dishes. You’ll find recipes for appetizers, main meals, casseroles, desserts and salads.

Many Interests
You’ll also see that Cindi is very passionate about the benefits of online education. After a 20-year break from when she first started college, Cindi received her B.S. degree in Business Administration with a minor in Sociology from the University of the State of New York while in her 40s. Afterwards, she then went on to complete another A.S. degree in Paralegal Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude, all while working full-time and raising a family.
For over 30 years Cindi has been in the professional field of Law in the capacity as a Paralegal as well as Legislative, Regulations and Research Analyst, in both the public and private sectors.
Taking her Paralegal Experience one step further, she has established a website at CAM Virtual Assistant Services, and offers freelance Virtual Assistant Services for all your business and blogging needs. After being employed in the business community for many years as a Paralegal, Cindi is looking forward to retirement, being a Work-at-Home Grandma and sharing tips with all fellow Baby Boomers on how to successfully transition from commuter to eBiz Mompreneur!
Starting her online presence by opening an eBay store and quickly becoming a Power Seller, Cindi has since opened a Booth at Bonanzle, the newest online marketpace. Moomette’s Magnificents on Bonanzle is pretty much eclectic focusing on Vintage Sewing Patterns & more.

Besides Twitter, Cindi is active in the social blogosphere, where she’s known as “Moomettesgram.” She participates in social media networking groups such as Facebook, MomDot, Twittermoms, Collective Bias as well as Mom Bloggers Club where she’s a MBC Ambassador, and an Ambassador for #GNO on Mom It Forward.
