Year End Thoughts and Starting a New Decade
Now that we’ve passed the Winter Solstice and are wrapping up 2009, I’ve tried to put together a collection of my favorite“Best of 2009” series of Moomette’s Magnificents posts.
While I’m a mom, I’m also a grandmom, wife, sister, and friend. I try to identify myself as a multi-generational blogger, and my blogging friends and readers are many and as varied as grains of sand in time.
Although I write about work-at-home tips, product reviews and giveaways, I’m also a humorist. OK, make that a New England Yankee dry sense of humor. I do a lot of double-entendres. Take it or leave it!
My regular readers know that I’m a frustrated Librarian wannabe – which is why you’ll find me on many social networking forums spewing forth my 2-cents worth – much like in the Exorcist, whether I’m asked for my opinions or not! My disclaimer on many social networking forums is “Opinionated Baby Boomer Grandmom from New England.” As Moomettesgram – the old lady of many forums, I’m everybody’s mom. The fact of the matter is, I like to share with others what’s worked for me and what hasn’t in the blogging and WAHM world.
Also, I especially like to participate in Wordless Wednesday which you’ll find under my ‘Meme’ category. My new hobby is photography and I try to share with you many local travel and tourism scenes which I’m especially fond of in New England.
So as we go forth into 2010, I, like many other bloggers and mommy bloggers am trying to reinvent myself for the New Year. I’d like to expand my horizons; improve my relationship and communication with my readers; and develop new contacts to collaborate with.
