Cape Cod Rail Trail Massachusetts – New England Photo Journal

Cape Cod Massachusetts

When the kids were little we would camp up in Eastham, Cape Cod. The Cape is one of my most favorite places in New England. Every family vacation trip that we take reminds me of “Summer of ’42″ when life was simple, and more laid back. Biking the Cape Cod Rail trail sets me back in time. At least that’s the mindset I’m in when I’m up there. But that’s the subject of a whole ‘nother post.

We camped in a private campground that backs right up to the Rail Trail.  The Cape Cod Rail Trail runs from Wellfleet to Eastham (probably beyond.)  The girls would roller-blade, and the Hubster and I would bike.  The vistas and views were beyond gorgeous – salt marshes, ponds, cranberry bogs, wildlife and nature.

That’s just beautiful. I’ve lived in MA all my life, but don’t think I’ve seen that trail. Looks like a great place to visit with the kids!

I’ll get around to figuring out the Mr. Linky thing one of these days… Thanks for sharing.
