During the Summer and Fall seasons here in New England it’s always a treat to shop at the local family-owned vegetable farm produce stands.
Fresh sweet corn season won’t be around too much longer!
To keep the economy going I like to support homegrown businesses in my area.
Many of the stands even have printouts of their favorite recipes for you to take home to try!
This is the Eddy Family farm stand in Newington, CT.

I love our local farmers market. That’s very neat that they hand out recipes to make with their produce.
I do, we have a farm called Indigo Farms here in NC. Love going to places like that!
Our farmer’s markets here are pretty sad. I miss the “real” ones!

We don’t have as many produce stands as we used to around here. I miss getting fresh fruit and veggies from them.
