Lazy Days Sunday Drive Daytrip

There’s some gorgeous magnificent scenic vistas along River Road on the Connecticut River. Our drive from Essex to the town of Deep River, Connecticut one winter afternoon took us past this windmill. Also along the road are many historic old homes which are owned by celebrities from New York City who have them as second homes and visit on weekends.

Beautiful picture! I’m so happy that spring is almost here. The grass is turning green and the flowers and trees are blooming now if the cold would just go away again.
