Seashore Connecticut Salt Marsh
Taken on one of our lazy Saturday night rides down to the Connecticut Seashore. Our family enjoys grabbing a bite to eat at the local lobster and crab shacks and drives to watch the birds at the wildlife refuge by the boat launch.

A salt marsh is down at the seashore/coast. It’s a marsh, that’s salt water or brackish – fresh & salt water meeting together, and is tidal. It has a lot of natural vegetation, marine life & wildlife. There’s a definite scent/aroma to it – the smell of salt water and vegetation. You can immediately tell you’re at the beach/ocean when you smell the salt air. I happen to like it, some people don’t. To me, it’s totally relaxing just to smell the salt air from the marsh.
I always look forward to visiting your blog on WW. I love your scenic posts.
