As a parent of two grown daughters, I’m very familiar with teenage spending habits.  One can well imagine the peer pressure placed upon young girls when they’re in middle school and high school.  It seems every Saturday they’re encouraged to make a pilgrimage to the mall.

One daughter has now graduated from college, married, a homeowner and mom of 2 young toddlers.  My second daughter graduates from college in May.
