This policy is valid from 15 December 2007
I’ve been blogging since 2007, as you can see from the above date. As I’m a Baby Boomer, I’m trying to monetize my blog (somewhat, pitifully so) in order that I can (someday) retire. Well, at least cover my hosting fees. The following Disclosure has been up on my blog since it’s inception. I’m an up-and-up person, and have always believed in transparency – that’s why I have this site-wide Disclosure prominently placed in my Navigation Bar.
Recently the Federal Trade Commission implemented new rulings that Bloggers must comply with. Well, I’ve always tried to stay one step ahead of the curve. As a Baby Boomer, I enjoy letting my readers know of new products I or my family have used and comparing them to products we’ve used in the past. Also, I believe in providing press release and public service announcements when I deem them to be of value to my readers.
Many of my posts contain images that inspire me that I’ve posted to my Boards on Pinterest. I always give credit and link directly to the source on the photos I use. If, however, one of the photos is yours and you do not wish me to link to it, please eMail me and I will remove it.
So, read on for what I’ve been disclosing all along as far as my product reviews, posts, and affiliate links:

Such compensated opinions may be classified as ‘blogvertorial,’ ‘sponsored post,’ ‘public service announcement,’ ‘promotion’ or ‘press release.’ Even though the owner(s) of this blog may receive compensation for our posts or advertisements, we always give our honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the bloggers’ own.
