I’m In With the In-Crowd – Updating My Fall Wardrobe at Marshalls

Now that Fall is here, I’m  doing some fall cleaning and updating my wardrobe.  Many of  the things that no longer fit are being donated to charity.  It’s also a good time to re-access and think ahead to what I’ll be needing in terms of party attire for the upcoming holiday season.

One of my favorite places to shop is Marshalls – they’re known for their off-price shopping!  While I while I was there I bought the coolest wool Pea-Coat Jacket with coordinating scarf from London Fog for 50% off the suggested MSRP!

A casual wardrobe essential, it brought back memories of when I was in high school and pea-coat jackets first came out!  All of my friends had them – in black, navy and gray.  Although I haven’t owned one in years, both of my daughters have had theirs since high school, and they’re now in their 20’s.  This versatile jacket is a classic, and never goes out of style!  I’ll wear mine with jeans, or dress pants.

Now I’ll be checking Marshalls for a new pair of boots to give my new Pea Coat a  fresh look for fall!  Since I’m short, I like something with a little heel.

I like how Marshalls always keeps rotating their stock  – there’s always something new every time I visit and I can really stretch my dollars there ~
