The snow is finally melting here in Connecticut and the promise of spring is right around the corner!
During the winter months when the snow and winds are whirling outside, my family enjoys comfort. One of my charming son-in-law’s favorite dishes that I prepare is Shepard’s pie, made from ground beef. However, not any recipe, I have adapted a traditional recipe from a Bed and Breakfast Inn up in Maine, and add a little, “spirits” should I say? You can find the recipe on my other blog.
Although I like comfort food, I can pretty reasonably say that summer is when we really enjoy outdoor parties and barbeque’s. Grilling is when many of us put our culinary skills to the test. Of course when the kids are home from school all summer, you’ll probably be firing up that grill for lunches too like I do!

What I like best about the website is the recipes. I found one in particular I’m going to make soon – Steak Pizzaiola.
I’d like to try their Fully Cooked Entree-Shredded Beef with Barbecue Sauce. I love BBQ Beef sandwiches!

I love the recipe search thingy do. I always buy her ground beef but have never tried any of the other products. Would definitely like to try the flank steak.

I like their recipe search. My favorite one so far is the pot pie. I would substitue brocolli for the mushrooms, however.
