Keep Your Old Photos Safe
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to digitize all the photos that I’ve taken over the years.
I’ve inherited several vintage family photo albums from my mom, grandmom and mother-in-law. Since I’ve been married for over 35 years, I also have quite a collection of photographs that I’ve taken before digital cameras came on the scene. At first I was pretty good about organizing them and putting them into photo albums, but have slacked off over the years as my life became more hectic.
I recently did a post on how scrapbooking has become very popular. Many crafty women are even turning their hobbies into a work-at-home business.
If you don’t currently own a scanner, there are photo scanning services that can transfer and convert your photos for you.
If you’re like me and have “picture baggies” rather than photo or scrapbooking albums, Scan Digital can help organize you in 2010.
Scan Digital provides video transfer, slide scanning, and negative scanning services. They’ll help convert your photos or old VHS to CD or DVD, with online photo galleries.
With so many families and friends living on different coasts and communicating via Twitter, Facebook, Skype or Webcam, sharing photos is a great way to reminisce over the good old days.
