Since I was a teenager, I’ve always been a heavy makeup user.  I’d never leave the house without it.  Not that I would look overly made-up, it’s just that I usually would use the full monty – moisturizer, foundation, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lip-liner and/or lipstick.

Now that I’m more mature, I prefer to go somewhat lighter with my makeup, and have recently become a fan of mineral makeup. I’ve tried several brands of mineral makeup since I’ve discovered it, and in fact, I was, at one point, a mineral makeup direct sales rep for another company at one point in my online career.

I like that the Southern Magnolia Minerals website shows pictures of different people with different skin tones to help you figure out your correct foundation shade, instead of just showing pictures of the makeup itself, which can be misleading.
