Clorox Disinfecting Wipes – Review & Giveaway

chloroxwipes-copy-copy1

Now that my oldest daughter’s maternity leave has ended, she  is returning to work full-time as a marketing director.  My granddaughter, ‘Lil Moomette has turned two and is in the midst of potty-training.  This baby boomer Grandma will be collecting the little darling from daycare each day until her parents pick her up on their way home from the office.

While I don’t consider myself quite domestically challenged, I have to make sure that the downstairs powder room is especially sanitary as I’ll be assisting in helping ‘Lil Moomette become potty-trained.

I’m especially excited to be using the newly designed Clorox Disinfecting Wipes!  The company has come out with new canister designs that make them easy to use yet are fashionable enough for me to display on my vanity!  chlorox-copy1

Features include:

  • - Eight unique color palettes to match any home decor
  • - Sleek new shape and wider mouth
  • - New effortless single sheet dispensing system
  • - Same disinfecting power of their namesake wipes

Now, after ‘Lil Moomette uses her little potty and goes about her toddler ways, all I have to do is reach for one of the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes and do a quick swish to clean-up and make sure everything is healthy and virtually germ-free!  It’s great to know that  Clorox wipes eliminate 99.9% of germs when used as directed.

Cinderella, Cinderella, All I Need Is Cinderella ~ And a Dirt Devil!

Darling Daughter # 2, my baby girl, has moved back home from college. Actually, this is the 4th college she’s attending (but she’ll graduate and receive her college diploma next May!) She’s my happy homemaker. See, I have two darling daughters, and I didn’t make the same mistake twice. This one cleans the house for her Baby Boomer Mama! This one has middle child syndrome, (actually, youngest child syndrome) and refers to herself as “Cinderella.” Now Cinderella’s moving back home, I guess, is, as Martha Stewart would say, “a good thing!”

I avoid spending energy on cleaning, by having Darling Daughter do it for me. I don’t have to dial a maid – I just either IM Cinderella, or call her upstairs on her cell phone.

My trusty 8-lb. Vacuum that I bought several years ago and thought was the bee’s knees is on the fritz. Cinderella used it one too many times in her rent-free room upstairs, and it’s all plugged up. So to thank her for her Domestic Diva contributions, I’m going to track down a Dirt Devil.

Dirt Devil has a better way to save energy. The new AccuCharge Stick Vac and Hand Vac use 70% less energy – making AccuCharge the first cordless cleaning technology to earn Energy Star approval.

I’m just giggling at the thought of instead of a broom, Cinderella would be able to flit around my entire house cordless, without having to worry about plugging and unplugging a power cord! Kids these days are used to cordless technology anyway, with their laptops, cell phones and landlines!

Now don’t you think she’ll be so glad she moved back home from school when she sees the gift I got for her?

How to Grow and Promote Your Business – Use VistaPrint For All Your Printing Needs

I recently did a post about the sluggish economy and how it might affect businesses. I’m a Bronze eBay Power Seller, as well as an affiliate independent consultant for several companies, and recently formed a Virtual Assistant Services ebiz.

Whenever I package an item to ship to my eBay customers, I cross-promote my Shoppes site and the companies that I rep for and include my business cards.  In order to qualify to be a Bronze Power Seller, I have to sell a minimum of 100 items per month. That’s quite a few business cards that I hand out ~ and that’s just to my eBay customers alone!

Though various eBay forums and business forums I belong to, I found out about Vista Print. Vista Print is a once-stop source for all your promotional business needs. I get many of my company business cards for FREE! There’s a wide selection of nicely designed templates that you can customize to personalize your cards and make them ‘your own.’ There’s also the opportunity to upload your own logos to design your business cards. Vista Print has a category design for everything – boutiques, mineral makeup, spa, beauty, gardening services, house cleaning services – you name it, they have it!

Additionally, VistaPrint offers a wide array of very affordable printing services including:, checks, rubber stamps, announcements, and car magnets! They even offer window decals. You can customize all of their products to your liking!

Since many are free, I order often, and leave my card in  the establishments I patronize: local hairdresser; restaurants; banks; and also supply the whole family with cards to pass out to anyone they think might be interested in my businesses! Grow your business with Vista Print!
