The bizarre surprise nor’easter Storm Alfred that blew into Connecticut will most likely cause more tree damage than Hurricane Irene did in August.
We’ve had tornados in Connecticut and Massachusetts in the several years and list many historic trees, some over 300 years old.
It sounded like a Rice Krispies commercial last nite with all of the Snap, Crackle, Pop and then Boom of the tree branches.

I hope my White Birch tree survives, it was planted 23 years ago on my youngest daughter’s 23rd Birthday.
I need coffee!
The Governor has declared a State of Emergency once again in Connecticut.
There’s wires and trees down all over, it looks like a war zone.
The generator us humming again, and a tarp we put up between the kitchen and family room us trying to keep what little heat is left in.
Global Warming? More like Global Weirding. What do you think of all this?
