I think I might have a hard time eating turkey if I saw them all around me. We saw them wild in Kauai, Hawaii and they loved being in the road so we had to drive carefully.

We had wild turkeys when I lived in PA. They were so fun to watch. I was told there were lots of them on the Big Island of Hawaii too, but we didn’t get to see any.

Beautiful… We have turkey here but they are on the otherside of the area so only see them when driving… Now deer and other wildlife comes right into our backyard…

Yet another similarity between New England and Pennsylvania. We have a nice-sized flock of wild turkeys where I live. One day over the summer, we saw five enormous toms strutting around in a field. It was a pretty cool site.
