Ice Cream Shoppe Main Street USA

One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to take the grandkids down in the evening to the village ice cream shoppe in ye old historic part of towne here in New England.  Don’t you just love the old cobblestones?

In Connecticut, many of the older, historic homes were painted vibrant colors, such as blues, purples and goldenrod yellow.

There’s nothing like sitting on the veranda porch in one of the cozy rockers that are set up and watching the world go by, all the while, enjoying the delicious old-fashioned ice cream flavors!
