Buying Your First Home: Benefits of the Rent to Own Industry

My daughter graduated college last year and will be purchasing her first condominium soon.  Her offer on a foreclosure was accepted, making it very attractive for her to become a homeowner.  Young people out on their own, can often benefit from home ownership. It puts them ahead of other young people their age financially by helping with their credit and giving them what is often an excellent investment.

Housing costs are more stable. If you rent houses, condos or apartments, rental payments can be unpredictable and typically rise each year, but most mortgage payments remain unchanged for the entire loan period. If the taxes go up, the increase is usually gradual. This stable housing cost especially important in times of inflation, when renters lose money and owners make money.

  1. We built our home, and having a home is the best thing! I hated paying all that rent for nothing. We have friends doing a rent to own now and they are very happy with the process!!
