The New England coast has some beautiful beaches along it’s shoreline. Here are some of my favorite Cape Cod beaches to visit.
Cape Cod Photography
Marconi Beach on Cape Cod is an expansive stretch of beach with a lot of history. You’ll even see surfers and campfires on the beach if you visit at dusk.
Even on a foggy day on the Cape, Chatham Beach is worth putting on your sightseeing list of things to do on Cape Cod ! Kick off your shoes, and enjoy the salt air !
Coast Guard Beach
Walk the sandy path down to New England’s Coast Guard Beach and enjoy the lovely beach roses along the way. Once on the shore look up at the red and white iconic Coast Guard station that has watched over the Atlantic Ocean for many, many years !
Season Parking Passes for the National Seashore are available at the Visitor’s Center, in Eastham and run about $45.
If you’re a Senior Citizen age 62+, Lifetime passes good for any National Park and are $10.
Cape Cod Bay Beaches
If the surf on the Atlantic side of the National Seashore beaches is a little too much for your young family, try the Cape Cod Bay Beaches. This is one of the town beaches in Eastham. The waves are usually a little gentler. You can watch the windsurfers, lounge on your boogie board or just read a book from the current bestseller list!
Town Beach parking passes are about $15 per day, paypable at the gate.
There’s plenty of things to do on Cape Cod with kids, family and grandparents and grandchildren !
