Curious Cookie | Premium All Natural Gourmet Cookies | Review

Curious Cookie is a local All Natural Gourmet Cookie bakery located in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey and carries 4 lines of cookies (Premium Gourmet, Muffin Top, Gluten Free and Sugar Free).

Curious Cookie All Natural Gourmet Cookies

As a small business owner, my husband often thanks his customers for the business he’s received from them throughout the year.  We normally order custom gift baskets for the staff at the companies he does business with.

I recently had the opportunity to review samples of gourmet cookies from Curious Cookie! Not only did I sample these tasty delights, but the whole family did!

All of their cookies are All Natural in addition to using “Clean Ingredients” which means there are no processed sugars such as white cane sugar or bleached flour. In addition, the cookies are also Dairy Kosher certified by Star-K/Star-D.

Curious Cookie was recently featured as “Snack of the Day” on the Rachael Ray show and QVC.

The company did a wonderful job of packing the cookies securely, as not one cookie was broken!

Each cookie is a generous 2-1/2 inches x ¼ inch.

We sampled cookies from the Premium Gourmet Hat Box and Premium Muffin Top Gourmet lines.

Flavors included:

  • Chocolate Cherry
  • Chocolate Chip
  • Oatmeal Raisin
  • Ginger Cranberry
  • Sugar ‘N Spice (Sicker Doodle)
  • White Chocolate Mac
  • MT Strawberry
  • MT Blueberry
  • MT Orange Cranberry
  • MT Berry Blast

While it was so hard to choose as each one was delicious, I would have to say my husband’s favorite was of course, the chocolate chip, while my favorite was the Chocolate Cherry. Charming son-in-law voted for the Ginger Cranberry.

There’s also a dietetic (sugar free and gluten free) line which I didn’t have the opportunity to sample. The dietetic lines of cookies are tailored for diabetics (sugar free) and those people with gluten allergies or intolerance (gluten free). The sugar free line of cookies was just approved by Whole Foods. Look for them in stores near you!

You can also specify a delivery date for New Baby, Birthdays, Anniversaries, House Warming parties or any special Holiday Occasion.

Don’t forget to send the “care package” to those newly launched high school graduates going off to college!

If you can’t make it home for Thanksgiving or Christmas, send cookies!

Corporate accounts are also available and we’ll definitely be bookmarking this site!

Each of the cookies arrived individually wrapped and freshness is assured for a 4-5 month shelf life.

I learned that Curious Cookies offers children’s birthday party packages at their NJ Bakery location. Really cute idea! They get a tour of the bakery, decorate cookies, decorate the cake boxes, play games and more. AND it’s only $250 for 10 guests, birthday child is free. I have to check this out to see how far from me they are.

  9. I learned:

The history of cookies truly holds a colorful and tasty past. So how did this delicious baked good become an integral part of the American and worldwide dessert line? Well it seems the invention of the cookie was actually an accident. Linda Stradley, author for, says that the earliest type of cookie that we are familiar with dates back to the 7th century A.D. (600s A.D.). Beginning in Persia, which is believed to be one of the first countries to cultivate sugar and then spreading West to neighboring Europe.
