Using social media efforts to generate traffic to your personal niche or business blog requires a substantial time commitment. Now it’s become easier to promote your blog posts on Facebook through an application called Social RSS developed by Social Revitalizer.
Up until now, I have been manually publishing my blog posts to Facebook on both my personal profile and my fan pages.
I have also been auto-posting my blog feed through Networked Blogs.
Other services I have been using to promote my blog posts and generate traffic include “Selective Tweets” and the Su.pra wordpress plugin. Both of these only publish “snippets” or truncated versions of my post – the title and a link to the blog post.

Social RSS Helps to Promote Your Business on Facebook
Social Revitalizer provides a suite of professional tools to market your brand on Facebook. We can help you display your brand on Facebook Pages, push your content to the Facebook community and even build custom applications for your company.
Key features of Social RSS include:
- Helps to push traffic to your website and Facebook Page/Profile
- Readers can comment on, share and “like” your content
- Potential for your content to go viral by spreading throughout the entire Facebook community
- Helps to achieve increased engagement on your Facebook Page or Profile pages
- Ability to increase conversations on your Facebook Page or Profile page to discover your reader or customer needs and concerns
The free service is limited to a maximum of 3 blog posts or stories per week.
Social RSS also offers a paid version of the application, which I installed on my Moomettes Crochet Fan page. The paid version is $24/year per page and will automatically promote your content by posting an unlimited number of blog posts or news stories to your Wall. The paid service also provides a statistics monitoring service that shows how well your content is performing in terms of number of clicks, comments, shares etc.
I’m going to be monitoring my statistics this year to see how this new social media Facebook application pans out for traffic generation for my Moomettes Crochet fan page.[ec_product productid=”251″ style=”1″ columns=”3″]
