Connecticut Countryside in Winter

This photo was taken in Windsor, Connecticut – the oldest town in the state. It reminds me of the poem by Robert Frost “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.”

Connecticut winters are so beautiful when the snow first falls. Where do you think the path leads?

  7. I LOVE this photo – it’s gorgeous! :) Your pix are always so pretty! Would you believe I had to study and do a report on that exact Frost poem over 30 years ago. And I STILL remember that! :)

  17. Oh oh oh!!! I’m moving to CT next week! I’m going to bookmark you and come back all the time now! Any tips? We’re Californians and haven’t lived back east for over a decade. My kids have never even seen snow!!! Can’t wait to come back and see more of your pics.
