Grand Launch

Bath and Body Products Gift Ideas

Just in time to celebrate the arrival of summer, join in on the Grand Launch of Touch’d Bath and Beauty and win some magnificent products!

Rachel Ferrucci is a WAHM mompreneur and founder extraordinaire of her new venture.  I’m delighted that she’s asked me to be a part of  the grand launch and help her coordinate it’s promotion as Campaign Manager.  We’ve worked together before when I asked her to be a contributing beauty writer to another site I wrote for.

Also another New England gal and Connecticut resident, since she lives ‘down the road apiece’ from me I’ve had the opportunity to meet Rachel over brunch when I was in town for a follow-up for my doctor’s appointment for my new diet plan.

As a former stylist with cosmetology experience, Rachel developed Touch’d out of a personal need

Touch’d Bath and Body was founded  . . . when I couldn’t find products to meet all the needs of my family. One product specifically, the organic sugar scrub, was created when my daughter had eczema and the doctors were giving us medicated creams that seemed to be drying out her skin. I wanted to give my daughter relief without slopping medicated creams all over her delicate body. I researched and read every book on natural oils and how they can benefit our skin. I was successful in making a product that was 100% organic and alleviated her eczema.

I received (actually Rachel handed them to me!) the Organic Sugar Scrub and Bath Butter products.

Organic Sugar Scrub

The scent I tried was Tropical Paradise.  Just opening the jar for the first time and getting a whiff of yummy coconut made me think I was back in Hilton Head, SC listening to Jimmy Buffet songs coming from beach-side bistros as we took our daily walk!

A pretty shade of pink, I stirred with my finger to mix the the essential oils and sugar together and applied with a Loofah when showering.

During the time I’ve been using it, there’s been a noticeable improvement in my psoriasis condition as it the granules exfoliated away the dead skin on my “computer elbow.”

This is a “good thing” as I won’t be so self-conscious with tee shirts or sleeveless tops and dresses this summer!

Organic Sugar Scrub comes in 7 yummy scents:  Tropical Paradise, Cucumber Melon, Sugar n Spice, Dream, Warm Vanilla, Almond Puff and Unscented.

Bath Butter

Since it’s summer, and summer traditionally means bathing suit weather around here in New England, that means I have to shave my legs on a regular basis now.  (Surprised?  Are there any other’s out there like me, raise your hands!) I like to consider myself pretty “cool” for a Baby Boomer grandmom and the most I wax are my eyebrows and upper lip area.  When I was a twenty-something, no-one had ever heard of waxing, much less of a Brazilian Wax!

Bath Butter by Touch’d is a super creamy mix with the consistency of whipped butter.  Whipped butter has air beaten into it  which increases its volume and creates a softer, more spreadable consistency.

I wet the Tropical Paradise Bath Butter with water, lathered and used it to shave in the shower.  After showering what I really liked was that I could actually feel the emollients on my skin and almost didn’t want to towel dry!  My skin just felt so good!
