How to Lift Your Spirits in Spring: Get a Makeover And a Face Lift!

Yay! I’m so happy ~ Today is Tuesday Toot Day!

What does that mean? Well, it means every Tuesday, you get to post an accomplishment that you have done. As moms sometimes, we are quick in praising our kids and others about their accomplishments but we are “shy” when it comes to our achievements so … here is our chance.

Now that Spring is just around the corner, I decided to do a little sprucing up and housecleaning here on Mama Mentor ~ sort of re-arrange the furniture so to speak! As a result, Mama Mentor has a new look ~ a complete makeover facelift, thanks to Lady Java at LadyJava Creations!

There was no doubt in my mind who I wanted to give me a facelift!

I first met Lady Java when Entrecard was in it’s infancy. I had signed up and joined a “Drop List” ~ “Red Hot Drops” started by Mariuca and Lady Java, (Lady Java was first on the list), which in turn introduced me to many international blogs.

I visited Lady Java and met some of her other bloggy friends ~ Mariuca and Roxy, from Roxiticus Desperate Housewives. (I’m now one of Roxy’s Contributing Editors at Roxy’s Best of Hartford CT and Roxy’s Best of Connecticut). Lady Java then went on to form her own design company.

Mama Mentor

Explaining that I was looking to capture the essence of New England, Lady Java designed a template conveying the fall color schemes and Old English script, indicative of New England’s quaint heritage. Also, applying her techno professional skills, Lady Java tweaked Mama Mentor further for SEO search engine purposes and condensed all my widgets into some semblance of cohesiveness!

What’s nice about using the Blogger Platform is that’s it’s free. If you’d like an expert Blogger header or template created for you, or are looking for a makeover ~ visit Lady Java at LadyJava Creations. & be sure to let her know that Cindi sent you!

So, tell me what you think of my new look?
