Effective At Removing Makeup

Many of my readers are aware that I’ve been camping with the family quite a bit this summer.  Regulars have heard all about my mosquito bite story – where I ended up with about 300 bites, and was totally clueless that it was happening!  We’ve had quite a bit of wet weather here in New England.

We’ve always camped in tents – although that setup might be changing in the near future if my married daughter has her way.

Our last camping trip was at Connecticut’s Rocky Neck  State Park, and involved a trek to the bathhouse which took about 5 minutes – for me, an eternity!  It was the hottest weekend of the year.

Fortunately, I received a sampling of Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes to review, and packed them along with me for the trip.

I used the Ponds Towelettes throughout the day at the beach and at the campground to refresh as it was so hot and humid.

Being the nice mom that I am, I also shared them with my oldest daughter.

We might be camping, but that doesn’t mean that we’re totally back-to-nature – we still wear our makeup! They gently removed make-up and even waterproof mascara. She liked them so much that I often found myself going into my showertote bag to pull them for her to use!

Clinical studies have shown that Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes remove the make-up that other brands leave behind – taking off up to 40 percent more than other leading towelettes.

POND’S Wet Cleansing Towelettes are available in three varieties – Original Clean; Age Defying and Micro-Dermabrasion.

Features include:

  • Ophthalmologist and Dermatologist tested
  • More effective at removing make-up than any other leading towelette
  • Contains Triple Tea Antioxidant Complex, Vitamin E and Chamomile
  • Luxuriously quilted cloths with a unique diamond texture allow for a deep clean without leaving any residue behind

This Baby Boomer will definitely be trying out the Age Defying Towelettes when I finish the package I was sent.

These are so convenient to keep in your purse  or pack along in a carry-on when traveling.

  1. I subscribe and on the Pond’s website I liked that there is a $1.50 coupon for the product.

  2. I subscribe and I read that If you are diagnosed with osteoporosis, you should take calcium and vitamin D supplements in addition to any medicine prescribed by your doctor. I like that they clean your face without leaving any residue behind.

  3. Subscriber! Tip learned from Pond’s Break your eye pencils in half. A shorter pencil gives you more control. You can rest your thumb on your cheekbone for stability and get up close to the mirror for precise application. And, now you have two liners in your favorite color – one for home and one for the office.
I’ve always loved Pond’s cream and would like to give their towelette a try!

  12. I subscribe to your blog at canwestopthis(at)gmail(dot)com. A tip I read that’s useful is to carry blotting paper to control shine. I used to do this a long time ago and for some reason got out of the habit. I’d like to try these because I like the idea of a one use face cleaner.

  20. Take an extra five minutes and start with a clean palate by using Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towlettes to remove make-up before re-applying the essentials. I would love to try Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes because they have an exclusive cleansing system, with oil- and dirt-trapping fibers, that works like a magnet to remove make-up, dirt and oil, even waterproof mascara.
