Safe, Wickless Alternative to Traditional Candles
Thanksgiving and the Holidays will be here before you know it, and that means you’ll be entertaining and of course you’ll be paying particular attention to your home decor. With Scentsy Candles, you can reflect not only your personality and style, but the colors and scent of every season as well.
Scentsy Candle Company
Each month I like to feature a work-at-home mompreneur and invite that person to Guest Post on Moomette’s Magnificents. This month I’d like to feature Amy Bellgardt, who is well known throughout the blogosphere. Amy is now associated with the direct sales company, Scentsy – a wickless, smokeless, flameless and safe alternative candle product.
Scentsy Canada opened in October 2009 and I’d like to remind all of my Canadian readers that Canadian Residents and most Provinces are currently approved for joining Scentsy as a consultant.
If you’re looking for a WAHM career to supplement your family income, be certain to get in contact with Amy and let her know I scent you!
Amy, (who tweets as @MomSpark) kindly scent me a fabulous full-size Boho Chic Warmer along with the NEW Gingersnap bar!to try out. I know she must read my tweets during the evening, which is when I enjoy burning candles as I write.
I often burn candles in order to create a relaxed atmosphere after a stressful day. Burning candles bring out a feeling of peace and harmony.
Recently I adopted a baby stray Calico kitten who now fights for shares space with my 13-year old house cat. I work until the wee hours of the morning, and am so tired that I often forget to extinguish the candle I would have burning. Now the Hubster doesn’t have to worry about me forgetting, or the kittys knocking it over because Scentsy warmer offers a safe way to enjoy fragrance, using a small 25watt light bulb to melt the wax slowly, while maximizing the fragrance time of the Scentsy Bar or Brick. Replacement bulbs may be ordered through the Scentsy consultant.
To use the warmer, I broke the cube off of the packet and placed it in the warming dish. There’s enough heat from the bulb to melt the wax. The Gingersnap fragrance filled the whole downstairs of my house, and smells just like the real thing!
When the kids and grandkids come to visit, I have them fooled – they think I’ve been baking! So sorry to disappoint …
It’s easy to change the fragrances, as you can either pour the melted wax back into it’s original packaging to reform, or you can let the wax solidify and then store in a cool place for later use.
During the Holiday Season, one of the best ways to express your love for your beloved ones is by giving gifts. Different gifts signify different things to different people. One of the best things to gift someone is by giving the person a candle gift basket. You can gift a candle gift basket to communicate different feelings. You can use it as a Hostess gift basket, or perhaps a Wedding candle gift basket.
My charming son-in-law is from Vermont, and he and my daughter were married awhile ago in Stowe over Columbus Day Weekend. I’m thinking that they would really enjoy the new Montpelier Warmer, adorned with Maple Leaves and Maple Butter scent bar as an Anniversary gift, so reflective of fall in New England!
Hello! I am a SAHM of two boys and a wife to an insanely handsome jingle writer. I started a blog, MomSpark.net, in 2008 as a way to connect with fellow moms who were experiencing the same joys and challenges of parenting. Mom Spark now consists of six writers and has a wide range of articles for moms that include recipes, product reviews, arts & crafts, travel, blogging advice, and an active community forum.
I also founded the successful MomMadeThat.com, an online listing registry for mom businesses, in an effort to promote moms with small home businesses. Mom Made That! currently has over 200 business listings and was just recently recommended by Etsy.com as an economical method of advertising.
I just recently launched my own media company, Mom Spark Media, which teaches mom bloggers how to further their blogging paths and offers unique opportunities to work with brands. I am also a new Scentsy consultant and I’m thrilled about this new adventure!
Please contact me if you have any questions whatsoever on browsing through our catalog or hosting your own party. I would love for you to join my team as well!
