Wild Turkey in New Hampshire

New England Wild Turkey

Wild turkeys are making a comeback in parts of New England. These wild turkeys were frequent daily visitors in my BFF’s backyard and front yard in Canaan, New Hampshire!

It was so nice to wake up every morning and see nature outside rather than a neighbor’s house!

  27. Yet another similarity between New England and Pennsylvania. :) We have a nice-sized flock of wild turkeys where I live. One day over the summer, we saw five enormous toms strutting around in a field. It was a pretty cool site.

  28. Very cool! We only catch a glimpse of them every once in a blue moon, but it’s always exciting!

  32. Beautiful… We have turkey here but they are on the otherside of the area so only see them when driving… Now deer and other wildlife comes right into our backyard…

  33. We had wild turkeys when I lived in PA. They were so fun to watch. I was told there were lots of them on the Big Island of Hawaii too, but we didn’t get to see any.

  35. I think I might have a hard time eating turkey if I saw them all around me. We saw them wild in Kauai, Hawaii and they loved being in the road so we had to drive carefully.
